Family Medicine, PC is excited to have Beauty by Lissa in the office to provide cosmetic services for everyone. Owner and operator, Lissa Carlson, was born and raised in Sartell, Minnesota. She graduated with honors from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education. Lissa went on to earn a Masters in Education from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. She taught kindergarten in Minnesota for 11 years and taught at a bilingual elementary school for part of a year in Cancun, Mexico.

Lissa and her family moved to Albuquerque in 2013 and have grown to love New Mexico. She became interested in skin care after turning 40 years old and noticing the changes in her own skin. Lissa truly enjoys helping her family, friends, and clients to improve their skin's health and appearance.

With proper care and touchup visits, your lashes can last 6 to 8 weeks. Our lashes naturally fall out every 45 to 60 days, and therefore it is necessary to get touch-ups to fill in the spaces about every 2 weeks.

Lissa's teen facials begin with a skin analysis to assess the skin’s type, tone, and texture and to identify any ongoing skin conditions.

Lissa also takes the time to introduce and educate teenagers on how to properly take care of their skin.
