DOT Physicals

Family Medicine, PC is available to perform a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical for any commercial driver.

The point of a DOT physical is to make sure that people who are driving commercial motor vehicles are physically, mentally, and emotionally fit. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requires them for the safety of the public.

Our healthcare providers, who perform your DOT physical, will ask you detailed questions about your medical history and provide you with a laminated Medical Examiner's Certificate the same day of your appointment. Your results of your physical are uploaded to the Department of Transportation by an onsite certified MEAA staff member so there is no delay in getting you on the road.
